Reservation and Cancellation Policy
Clair Tappaan Lodge
Traditionally, reservations canceled within 14 days of arrival are subject to a 25% cancellation fee. If a reservation is canceled within 72 hours of arrival, the cancellation fee increases to 50%. No-shows and cancellations on the day of arrival are subject to a 100% cancellation fee. The only exception to this policy is in the event of an official road closure by the State Department of Transportation due to weather (call CAL TRANS at 1-800-427-ROAD), in which case no cancellation fees apply. In the current Covid-19 environment we will work with you should you need to change your plans or cancel.
Hutchinson Lodge
Hutchinson reservations are charged in full at the time of booking. Refunds are only available for Hutchinson Lodge up to 14 days prior to arrival. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.
Backcountry Huts
Hut reservations are charged in full at the time of booking. Refunds are available if the cancellation is received more than 30 days prior to the arrival date.
