In compliance with Governor Newsom’s mandate, as well as Sierra Club’s organizational guidelines, Clair Tappaan Lodge, Hutchinson Lodge and the backcountry hut system are temporarily closed. Reopening is currently not scheduled until at least March 1st 2021 for Clair Tappaan and Hutchinson lodges. The huts will remain closed until at least April 1st 2021.
Clair Tappaan Lodge stands with the community and our agency partners at The Sierra Club in heeding the advice of public health officials in doing what we can to slow the spread of COVID-19. The safety of our guests and team members is always our top priority.
